I hope to post most days but it will all depend on my level of fatigue and pain. Maybe this will encourage others to join in!

Mother's Day

I forgot to add a photo of me and my camper van with my dogs. You have to look closely to see Bobby, he's a black dog on a dark background.

Sunday 26th

March 2017Posted by Flo Mon, March 27, 2017 00:12:49
Today was Mother's day. My youngest son James suggested we went out for the day. We ended up going to a local lake but when we got there it was packed out, so we ended up going exploring and found a local 'The Range' store alongside a canal so we ended up walking the dogs along the canal then having a look around The Range. We also sneaked in a cheeky McDonalds, what a Mothers day treat! It also used up more than my hour of energy for the day. I'm sure I'll pay for it tomorrow. I am hoping to get some crafting done though. I enjoy cutting out 3D models and have already made quite a few items. I keep giving them away without getting good photos though so I really need to make a point of getting some.

My latest projects include table flower decorations for a club dinner and a flower shop for my beautiful granddaughter.
My next projects are looking like they are going to be just as much fun to make. I'll let you know more tomorrow, now it's time for me to sleep.

Hello, I spent my hour today giving my Mazda Bongo 'Belle' a clean and decoration. I cut the vinyl out two weeks ago but only got to put them on today. I love creating and cutting out. I have a machine or two that helps.

My first day of blogging

March 2017Posted by Flo Sat, March 25, 2017 22:11:42
Well I suppose I should make a start. My son James suggested this blog as he thinks someone might just be interested enough to read it. As I have said in the introduction on the right I have suffered with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (what used to be ME) and Fibromyalgia for many years now.

Up till the last eight or nine years I worked doing various things from selling Ann Summers (when my children were small - part time evenings and made good money) to teaching computer skills to the local newspaper employees. I loved my teaching and administration work and managed well with CFS and a sympathetic boss, who happened to be my big brother.

Frustrationgly though I had a bout of flu, proper 'can't get out of bed for a wee without help' flu that knocked me flat. I just about got back to work, literally - I was driving back to work on my first day back - and had to turn around and come home because I felt so ill. I had another bout of 'can't get out of bed for a wee without help' straight away and I've struggled to recover from it since. Some days I can be almost normal but I will always pay for it the next day or maybe even the day after that. So that's enough about that. I want to concentrate on what I can do, not what I can't.

Each day I start off with a coffee with a bit of hot chocolate added in, my own brand of mocha, along with my daily dose of painkillers. Once they have kicked in and I can move without too much stress I have my hour of activity. Sometimes it's longer, sometimes it's non existent but I try to go with at least an hour, then I feel that I have achieved something for my day.

This blog is about that hour, what I get up to and what I achieve. I hope you like it.
